Jeralyn Atleson is a Fremont Township Trustee, serving parts of Mundelein, Libertyville, Grayslake, Round Lake, Round Lake Park, Long Grove, Wauconda, Hawthorn Woods, and North Barrington. Prior to becoming a Fremont Township Trustee in 2013, she served as a Fremont Public Library District Board Member for three years, including a year as Treasurer. Jeralyn chaired the Finance Committee and oversaw a budget of approximately $4,000,000.
A native of Buffalo Grove, IL, Jeralyn earned a degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 1998. Jeralyn went on to earn her CPA and practiced in public accounting for eight tax seasons. Her experience in public accounting offers her a unique understanding of how the current economic environment impacts all businesses, especially small and mid-size businesses.
Jeralyn is a leader in her community through demonstrating her commitment to serving others. She serves on several committees at her synagogue, and is currently the Membership Chair. She is a Vice-President of the Midwest Region for B’nai B’rith International, and is a volunteer in her daughters’ schools.
Jeralyn has been involved in Lake County Republican politics since 2009, Jeralyn has also just announced that she is a candidate for Lake County Board District 10.
